“Four Design Stages of Health Promotion Campaigns”

  1. Define the Situation (i.e., what, where, when, why, how)

  2. Analyze and segment the audience (who, know your audience)*

  3. Establish campaign goals and objectives

  4. Select channels of communication (singular? multiple?)

Fun, Flexible Fitness is a “fictional event” that would occur every Friday night for people with disabilities. It can be extremely difficult for individuals with illnesses to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This event would provide people with disabilities the supplementary workouts their bodies need; while also having tons of fun. The goals and objectives for this campaign are to embrace who you are and never let your circumstances determine your quality of life. This is a body positive event where empowerment constantly fills the atmosphere. Fun, Flexible Fitness encourages confident behavioral attitudes, inspires self-motivation, and promotes activation! There will be many marketing channels utilized. Fun, Flexible Fitness will be promoted on social media platforms, mail pamphlets, and doctor office bulletin boards. This use of multiple channel communication will ensure the event will be seen by as many people within the target audience as possible.
